Kids say the darndest things...

When my son was little, he was looking for one of his
hot wheel cars under his bed, and he got up crying, and
I asked him what he was crying for and he said "I cracked
my nuts" ( he meant his knuckles).

OK...my brother and his fiancee call each other "Babe" all the time so now my 3 y/o niece doesn't call them mommy and daddy,she calls them babe. But it's so funny the way she says it. She pronounces babe as "Beb". I heard her get on the phone with her mother one day when my brother handed it to her and she said "Hi Beb! When ya comin' home?" She's too cute!

when my niece was 3, they live in Illinois, they came for a visit, and she didn't know me only heard alot about me. I asked her, "do you love me?" she replied,"I don't love you,
but I like you" I then said,"how long will it take for you
to love me?" She said,"about 20 minutes"

We were having lunch at McDonalds yesterday and I had finished my burger and part of my fries and was full.

My son asked me if I was finished and then proceded to say "You really full, your tummy is very big"

Then went on to say that he was getting full and his tummy was getting bigger and insisted I poke it.

Yesterday, my daughter simply asked: "Daddy, why do you want to be fat?" To which I had no good answer ...

These are funny. I have one that might be a so cute, but, you decide.

I was at the Dentist's office with our youngest son. We were in the waiting room reading and my son told me to look out the window. There was a 2 1/2 to 3 year old boy laying on the front of Gunter (2000 Red GLX) with his arms spread as wide as they could go. His mom quickly pulled him away and they entered with him looking longingly back at Gunter. They came in and the mom asked if that were my car. When I said yes the little boy was pushed in front of me where he apologized for hugging my car without permission. I thanked him for the apology and told him that Gunter liked hugs and he had my permission to hug him whenever he liked. He skipped over for a book and sat it on my lap and asked me to read it for him. I was asked if he were bothering me and he answered, "MOM! She's a nice lady. She hugs her car and will hug me! He hugged me and then was called back by the nurse. We were still waiting when he left and he waved bye with a big smile and hugged Gunter again and skipped over to get into his car.

My son cracks me up. He picked up his camera the other day (he's 5 yrs old) and wanted to take my picture. He told me to say "transformers rock!" instead of cheese.

"Daddy, why is there no walking on the orange hand?"
"That's the 'Do not walk' signal, honey. See, everybody takes turns. Cars gets to go on a green light, and people get to walk on the Walk signal. This way, everyone is safe and there won't be any accidents".
"Oh. ok. Walking on a 'don't walk' is stupid, because then you get run over by the car and go under the wheels then then you get all over the wheel. That's stupid, huh?"
"Yes, honey, that is stupid."

"I waved at them, daddy. They were driving a Honda. Daddy, do you know what I call the 'other' Honda? Nonda. Get it? Non-da"

That's how my car got it's name. "Doobie" Our grand daughter was visiting one day,We were walking around in the yard and stuff,Came around the garage and the was our two cars...and she said doobies....doobies, What she meant was two beetles.
