Default Golf headlight replacement

My friend has a Golf that needs new headlights - they're not clear anymore. If she gets some off Ebay, can she use the "how to" to help her replace them or are the NB lights and Golf lights different that way? She is limited with money and she is very DIY, so I was hoping the two of us could do it.

Thanks.

Cori

Whoa there! Save your cash and go buy some plastic polish from your local auto parts place. Better yet, you can find headlight restoration kits as well. With a little elbow grease they should look great in no time and you could save a heap of money.

If they get unfixable, the vortex (vwvortex.com) has lots of people who have replaced perfectly good headlinghts for HID lights (or whatever) A good condition set of GTI lights (with fogs) sell for $100 there.
