No baseball in New York today...
The skies opened up and cried all over New York City as the city mourned the tragic plane crash that took the life of New York Yankees pitcher, Cory Lidle and others. He left behind a wife and six year old son.
It was appropriate that there would be no baseball played in New York today...

It was a confusing day. First, breaking news about a possible terrorist crash, then not, then plane or maybe helicopter, now I hear it was a plane, and a Yankee pitcher/student pilot of the plane.
In the end, such a terrible, sad accident.
