Default VW VIN Decoder

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good VIN Decoder for VWs. I'm looking for something that I can put in the VIN from a car (or the last 6) and it tell me the exact options that came on this particular car. I've found an excellent one for Mercedes and a decent (at best) one for BMWs, but not one for VWs.

The one for Mercedes gives back the color, interior, options, etc. and I guess I'm looking for something along the lines of that. Anyone got any leads?

Send me (PM) the VIN and I will enter it into my Bentley program - I believe it will give you all the info you are needing...tried it out for the first time the other night.

Shannon...if you're thinking about buying another VW...PLEASE take my advise and keep a second car. Or...we'll watch for the "I'm selling" thread.

I suspect that after I get full-time employment, I'll add a smaller SUV (X3, 4Runner, or maybe even a Murano) to my cars and keep something more sporty for the weekends and what-not. I went out with friends last weekend and my car ended up getting left at a pool-hall while I played DD (I don't drink) for everyone (my choice). As much as I wanted another SLK230 after selling my first one, they're just not practical for anyone over 5',10" and who has any kind of a social life.

I had this question... just thought I would add some more info:

http://www.autohausaz.com/vw-auto-pa...n-numbers.html

Decent website with links to 1 or 2 sites to check VIN#
