I have two cups of coffee in front of me. YUM!

Amy, i don't mess with flavored couscous. I get the no flavor kind and allow the food to flavor it. It's also slightly healthier that way. Use of aromatics and salt you won't need those near east packs. Just a thought though.

I actually havent tried the plain couscous. I have a big container of it that someone gave me because they didnt like it (which isnt saying much) and I havent used it yet. The Near East couscous' arent that bad though. I dont usually use the whole seasoning packet. You'll probably kill me for this but I like to put ketchup on my couscous.

I am eating a lovely lunch from Mumford's Culinary Center.

Pan Seared Jump Lump Crab Cakes over a baby spinach salad with cucmber (removed), shaved fennel, and rep bell pepper and tossed in a citrus scallion vinaigrette.
It came with a spicy horseradishy sauce for the cakes, but i cannot stand horseradish. That said, overall i was disappointed. The cakes were too moist, too small, and too cold. The cakes were just not what i would have liked in a crab cake although they didn't taste bad, they just weren't living up to their own hype. Jumbo?? I could eat one whole. The salad is good. Nice and sweet and light. Not too much scallion.

Thereya go.

Right now i'm munchin a bologna and cheese sammich with some kosher dills. Pretty boring. yummy, but boring, right?

Well, guess what's on the stove? You'd think i'm Italian the way i rock sauce. Yup, i'm doing a slow-cook lamb and bracciole tomato sauce with capers. It's only been cooking 20-30 minutes so far. I figure it'll be ready around dinner time....a late dinner time. That lamb kept really well, i was shocked.

Oh god i can't wait to eat the stuff.

Wow! I would marry a guy who can cook like you!
Eventhough I've had Chicken tonight for dinner, I'm eating salmiak drop now. And a plumcake is reserved for later this evening. hahaha
