Like many people, I'll remember him best for being Raymond's dad.
 Everybody may love Raymond, but they laugh their  off when Frank(Peter)'s dry wit lit up the set.

I absolutely LOVED Peter Boyle... Young Frankenstein is on my top 5 list, and ELR is hilarious.
Multiple myeloma sucks. It is seriously nasty, not that any cancer isn't, but it is particularly insidious. My boss was diagnosed with MM about 9 years ago and is in remission, mostly due to some experimental drug therapy he was lucky enough to get in a trial for. Just a few years ago, a diagnosis of MM was a (short) death sentence. Peter Boyle will be greatly missed. |

I was sad to hear this news. My husband and I within the last few months started watching the ELR reruns that are on at night.
Plus, the myeloma cancer he had is the same cancer my Dad HAD and we just found out that after a 3.5 yr remission it has returned.
