Come out to California! It's freezing here too *54 degrees* but at least it's sunny!

I'm on vacation from work this week. I wish it would snow!

As it is now, just gray and cold, depressing weather. But, the birdbath is frozen!

/Bree Picks out thorns from hugging cactus. Remembers too late that that palm trees are for hugging and cactii are for waving to.

Only another 30 hours or so of snow to come a falling.

Hehehehehe. There are times when I miss the weather of Chicago!!! I still have my ice scrapper and my gloves in the trunk (just in case) But it suppose to be 73 degree or higher next monday... so I do not think I will needing them.

Its not like I didnt spend 20+ years in Chicago and Milwaukee... when its 120+ degrees over the summer you guys can remind me that its a DRY heat.

I hate this stupid snow. I was suppose to go to Denver today to go to my INTERNSHIP (I like it there). But no ... now I'm staying home. *HMPFT* ...... at least now I can start to get caught up on next quarters homework.

i just drove the NB in the 4+ inches of snow on the way to work. not exactly fun but more worried that some idiot would not slow down in time and hit my new car. it is supposed to be much worse by 9 pm when i get off. i shouldn't have gone in today but in my business, people always show up for their appointments.
i should be home right now......

Yes. Being at home would be mo' better than getting your new buggy all mooshed. Zoomer doesn't like the ice.

Maybe I post pics.

Close. Except here, in Colorado, instead of using skis people use snowmobiles... in the street ... near precious Zoomer.

WooHoo. A snow day has been declared. I am heading home. It is only a two mile walk and the wind should be at my back.

I finally made it home from Windsor! I babysit 7:15-4:15 every Wednesday and the weather didn't look too bad when I got up this morning. Nasty wind, no snow....yet. I got to the first light, intending to turn left. Ha! I couldn't stop in time to avoid hitting the car waiting in the turn lane so I went straight instead. I guess the wind had frozen the little moisture that was already on the ground. The dad of the little girl I babysit for decided to come home early so I left at about 11:15 and didn't make it to the driveway until 11:50, twice as long as it usually takes. I couldn't get out of my parking spot on the street in front of their house, so the dad gave me a push. Then I get home and I can't get into the driveway!! I shoveled some snow(some of it just blowing back in my face)and then Daisy made it into the garage!! Driving took a lot of energy -- gripping the wheel, foot on the clutch. Yup, I'm not going anywhere today!

You do realize you will be stuck at work right??

My six month pregnant wife got stuck, at least she made it to just a couple houses down the street. I tried to dig her out but no luck, it will have to sit til this lets up.

Yeah, I always thought snow was the Colombians dealt in down in Miami...or is that something else?
