I know I am not the only one around here that goes to college....What is everybody's major?
What do you wanna do with it when you are out of school?


Mine is History, with the option in Social Science, with an emphasis in European history. I also have a minor in Humanities.
I am going to be a Secondary (grades 7-12) History and Social Science teacher.

Well, I'm a new grad as of May 2006, so I almost count.

I majored in marketing, and now am working in sales.

I'm hoping to find a job in insurance underwriting in the near future.

I go to Washington State University here in Vancouver and am pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management and Personnel Psychology. I work 40 hours a week also so I'm not exactly sure when I'll be done, but I am hoping to have this completed within the next two years.

I'm an Environmental Science major.
Graduating a semester early, December '08 (thank you AP credits!).
Not sure what I want to do with it exactly...into a lot of things so I'm planning on getting internships to figure out exactly what I like doing.
Going to get a Masters. Hopefully get into Duke for that because their program is sooo good. Environmental Management with a concentration. If not Duke, then probably NC State for Natural Resources or something like that.

I'm a Thermal/Fire Protection Engineering Major - I also work 40 hours - but luckily, I'm a research/technical/admin/everything-under-the-sun assistant doing what I love to do! Besides... this way they pay for school! Downside is, I just hope to graduate at some point!

Woot! I'm the first Communication major. Although if you took a look at my schedule you'd probably assume I was a Theatre major; I'm taking 19 credits--8 of which are theatre classes. I'm in a show this semester! Come to San Diego, CHECK IT OUT!

Back to the question...I plan on becoming a radio personality, after I transfer to a four-year University. Hopefully, I'll be able to get my internship going this year, and if all goes well, I'll graduate in 2010! [Oy, I fell so, so young.]

My first degree was in French Medieval History (1975), second one was an AS in Electronics (1978), third one was BS Physics with a minor in Chemistry (1988), fourth one was MBA (1990), two children, now I'm looking at MS in Computer Science after I finish these books.

When I get bored, I get another degree. My children say that I'm ADD. My husband, an old scientist guy who has been with the same company since 1966, is simply amused.

I have taken those tests that are supposed to tell you what you should be when you grow up. I have taken tests to determine my strengths and abilities. I have taken tests just for fun. The test results always say that I can be anything that I want to be.

Oh, yeah, well, duh! It would be interesting to be a one-trick pony for a significant length of time. But somehow, being a fish or a rock or a tree always looks more interesting, at least briefly.

I'm currently being a writer and a geek. I think that the family has a betting pool going.

I'm never going to finish..

I did Animal Sci right out of HS and found it wasn't for me...

Worked as a Tech and so did the Computer Science thing...

Then I got a job as a Graphic Artist and did Graphic Design for a bit...

Now I work for a bank and whoah big surprise I'm now doing Banking & Finance. Funny, since I work for the IT division of the bank LOL I'd eventually like to get into doing the financial education / planning maybe credit counseling.

I'm only taking 2 courses a semester, but this allows me to work full time, still be a mom and wife and have the bank foot the bill. Yes, it's slow, but FREE!
