I think this is quite possibly one of my favorite TV shows of ALL TIME!

/me loves redheads and Gillian Anderson is probably the queen of all carrot-tops.

I want all you X-Files junkies to come out of your little closet and let's all make inside X-Jokes to one another.

Poor Queequeg!!

I was supposed to be in the closet?

The scariest one ever was the one they showed right after the SuperBowl that one year.

I had nightmares all night long after watching it.

I actually was just looking into buying all the seasons on DVD the other day.

Dawn, it's because i watch X-Files ALL the time. I own seasons 1-5(or is it 6?) on DVD and the feature film. I still need the all the other seasons up to season 9 as well as the Lone Gunmen complete series.

I watched Improbable from season 9 last night and 3 others. Improbable is the one where Scully, Doggett, and Reyes are using numerology to track a serial killer and they end up running into God (Burt Reynolds). It has all these funky music pieces in it and i was way impressed as i'd never seen it before. Had a cameo by the actress who played Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors as the numerologist (victim 7). Also watched the episode "Jump The Shark" where they kill off the Lone Gunmen.

Tee hee!

When the X-files were first shown here, we all sat together as a family on the Friday night and watched it. Then I ran upstairs to my bedroom and jumped into bed, not to get out of it the next morning as the episodes were quite.....

Now they are rerunning them for the so maniest time. I forget about them, but a few weeks ago I happened to stumble on an episode which I didn't remember. It was about a ship in the Icesea, off the shore of Norway, where the crew aged rapidly. The ship became a ghostship and only the toilet water wasn't infected. Eventhough all the other seamen had died, Mulder and Scully lived... figures

I love that show!

Scully - schwinnnngg!

But the coolest of all are the Lone Gunmen. I wish I could find or make a bumper sticker of just sihoulettes of them, I wouldn't put it on my car but I'd figure out something to do with it.

They filmed an episode down the street from my old house called "The Unnatural." I think! I took a photo by the sign that said The Unnatural Crew." It was filmed at a really really old baseball stadium... I think one of the players in the show was abducted by aliens...? It was so long ago, I don't remember. They had a lot of old time cop cars there and stuff. That stadium was also used to film part of A League of Their Own.

That was a great episode. The ending where Mulder teaches Scully how to swing, batter batter was one of my all time faves.

Did anyone ever see The Simpson's with Scully & Mulder??

The Unnatural is a great episode! The idea was that all of the great Negro League players and some other i think were all aliens or alien hybrids or something. Classic episode!

The inbred family episode is Home i think, right? First time i saw that i was majorly creeped out. The music in it, those 50s tunes, are just as creepy to me now.

Krycek has a fake arm.

It still kinda creeps me out that Mitch Pileggi married Gillian Anderson's stand in. That's an X File in itself......

You know who I miss? The Conundrum!

I used to date a girl who's brother knew the Conundrum and his wife Kat. He goes by a different name though; Enigma perhaps?

Best ever A.D. Skinner performance was the Lone Gunman episode where there's a fake Skinner saying dude and stuff. I think it was really Langley or something.

APOLOGY: I'm sorry about my Krycek comment. I was insensitive to amputees. I've known amputees and i wouldn't want to offend any of them.

Yeah, the Enigma! That's his 'freak show' name.......

Hey John, have you ever seen that movie Boxing Helena? Well, Sherilynn Fenn starred in it and she was also in Twin Peaks, which is where the whole 'spooky' vibe of the X Files was originally trying to be capitalized on.

I just made that up, but I think you know what I'm saying... lol

HEPCAT HELM: Oh, but see? That's why Barnum was a genius. You never know where the truth ends and the humbug begins. He came right out and said, "This Feejee Mermaid thing is just a bunch of B.S." That just made people want to go and see it even more. So, I mean... who knows? Maybe for box office reasons, Barnum hocked it as a hoax... when in reality............it was a real life Baldylox......

Default Hot!

Milagro episode.....Her prompt mind ran through the golconda of possibilities -- was this trinket from the killer? Was there a message contained in its equivocal symbolism? Was he a religious fanatic who had, in fervent haste, licked the envelope, leaving the telltale DNA that would begin his unraveling? She had a condign certainty the killer was a male ... and now, as she held the cold metal at her fingertips she imagined him doing the same, trying to picture his face.

It would be a plain face, an average face, a face people would be prone to trust. She knew this inherently, being naturally trusting herself. But the image she conjured up was no better than the useless sketch composites that littered her files. Preconsciously, she knew this wasn't her strength as an investigator. She was a marshall of cold facts, quick to organize, connect, shuffle, reorder and synthesize their relative hard values into discreet categories. Imprecision would only invite sexist criticism that she was soft, malleable, not up to her male counterparts.

Even now, as she pushed an errant strand of titian hair behind her ear, she worried her partner would know instinctively what she could only guess. To be thought of as simply a beautiful woman was bridling, unthinkable. But she was beautiful, fatally, stunningly prepossessing. Yet the compensatory respect she commanded only deepened the yearnings of her heart ... to let it open, to let someone in.
