I saw this last week in Popular Science. I just hadn't found time to post it though.

Either way, where do we sign up? I would be first in line with my '00 Ford Ranger! It would look great next to the TS too!

It sounds like a neat concept but I guess my American and European personalities are at war here.

My American side is say.. OOooo imagine that on a 2.0. You could have a huge Turbo and still have monster low end torque. You could have a wholly streetable 350hp 2.0 ... muahahahaha

My European side says.. Hey that would be really neato in a smaller car such as the Polo or Fox or Lupo... in a Lupo chassis that car would flat out haul ass and still get huge MPGs... mmmmmmm yummmy

Then my common sense side kicks in and gets scared of all that technology in a VW..
