Thanks go to Justin (TheCheat) for his selfless work custom fabricating BlueNote's front grill, drivergear accent and foglights - I had a mix of parts for a mix of years and he got everything put together and I am very happy to have everything in front looking nice again - Thanks to Eeyore's Aaron for his grill piece he sent me too! That was the only part that was really correct for BlueNote's age!

before, during and after all the work - clear corners are on too!!

Thanks again so much Justin!! We might not let you leave for the west coast

Jeez, you guys are gonna make me blush.

What's even better is you wouldn't know unless you saw the pics...that accent covers a LOT.

2 threads in 2 days...I'm not using to getting compliments like this.

glad to see my grille mesh went to a good use.

however, my car is a 2000, not a 1999 :P so its still not the correct year part

looks awesome though~

It worked out a HECK of a lot better than the other bits had to work with - like Justin says, the accent covers a lot of the *fabrication*

Thanks again, I am so glad it was there to work with

Actually E...it's the grille that we used. We used the mesh from the other grill.

(Justin has been SO helpful, I can't thank him enough!)

Today he fixed Bluenote's disconnected fuel door/trunk hatch switch, installed the amber fog light protectors I bought from Russ waaaay back when and installed my "TT" pedals - I have already forgotten how you called them Pics of the pedals will have to be later after MAJOR cleaning

just testing out my new host for another pic
(still haven't been able to get a good shot of the tt pedals - grrr (which are filthy now )
warmer weather will be the time to re-do the grill work now that Bluenote has a complete set of parts that actually fit together!

lnzbug: I'm not sure if all the fabrication that went into this project (I think a couple of hours) is a good comparision of the time to take the mesh off the surround part of the grill

Bluenote went to visit The Cheat 2 weeks ago - the oil leak is fixed (bad drain plug gasket, replaced with the ECS kit) and Blue's got a tight butt now with his new Bilstein shocks - still need to take care of the struts when time and weather cooperate.
Pics also include Jenna and Bun-Bun!

Thanks J!
