Very cool idea, Alan! Sounds like Jacob's Interstate Roadshow, minus about 3 and a half months!
I was going to mention Tulsa, but then saw it posted. But then you took it off the list! How could you!?! If you do still happen to come to this area, I've got a guest room. And lots of pictures from when I did this!

Visiting your town doesn't necessarily mean staying overnight. I can meet you for a snack (or a meal) and then continue on my merry way.
I'm still unsure when the tour begins. Maybe June? Still trying to fit Las Vegas into the mix. More input, please? |

Any inclusion would be great. In fact, I only got to meet Aaron (Growler) for a few minutes for a quick photo-shoot during my big trip, after which he led me up the highway for a little bit, so I'd understand.

hey how ABout a whole caravan of bugs; checkpoints; designated rest stops; planned photo ops; aspecial decal; t shrt; sponsors; maybe a scavenger hunt along the way; designated pee /gas/water breaks; pre road trip safety inspection for all vehicles in caravan; chase teams/support teams........

Update
With quite a bit of regret, I announce that the Coast To Coast Tour 2008 has been postponed indefinitely.
 Even worse, because it was supposed to be sooner, is my trip to SoCal/Arizona during Thanksgiving Week may also be postponed, possibly to Christmas Week or even February 2008. More news as it happens. |
