Unhappy I've lost it!

A local oldies station has an afternoon trivia contest every day. This one question had gone for three days without an answer. So I did some research online and found it, called in, and won dinner for two at a local resturant.

The question: What rock & roll era Billboard #1 song has the same word repeated the most times in the title.

The answer: Shake, Shake, Shake.......Shake Your Bootie.

The problem: I'm a card carrying disco hater. And the DJ even got me to sing it on the air.

They taped and played my piece after the set that was playing so I had time to call my wife and we listened to me on the air together. She got a good laugh. Especially since she loves disco and knows how much I hate it. There are some circles I may never be able to show my face in again. At least I get dinner at one of my favorite places.

ROFLMAO! Congrats!

When I was in 8th grade ... I had to say (the f bomb) on the radio in order to win REM tickets. Luckily they didnt record it and play it on air!

Q: What does Star me Kitten mean?
A: Well ... even an 8th grader knows that!

No one else knew the answer. It was rather depressing. HA!

(Mod edit: No creative spellings or ***'s. Sorry.)

LOL, that is too funny. My daughter is the school mascot and when I'm putting the music together for her skits I use TONS of that kind of music, in fact "Shake Your Booty" is in this week's skit. Will you please come be our guest singer?

Enjoy your dinner!

(My husband once entered a costume contest as a woman w/water balloon falsies and everything, just to win us dinner at Steak & Ale. Sometimes we have to throw pride out the window. Did they use your full name on the air?)

I knew the answer to a scrambled song once, but didn't have a phone ...so I wrote down the answer and the phone number and gave it to a little old lady on my route...she called it in rather confused sounding and won tickets to a local fashion show
