What scale is your die cast model? Perhaps you can take photos of the real NB and the model into a Fast Signs shop and tell them what you're wanting to do. They do lots of work for all kinds of applications. I even searched a few sites near your location:
FASTSIGNS® (440)887-0131 6886 Pearl Rd Unit C Middleburg Heights, OH 44130 http://www.fastsigns.com/US-OH-Middl...-store297.html FASTSIGNS® (440)979-0025 24181 Lorain Rd North Olmsted, OH 44070 http://www.fastsigns.com/US-OH-North...-store141.html FASTSIGNS® (330)630-3500 1583 Brittain Rd Ste 2 Akron, OH 44310 http://www.fastsigns.com/US-OH-Akron-store129.html I've used this company on several occasions for car club window stickers, and even "for sale" stickers on vehicles I've sold. Just an idea ![]() BTW - am I spying a Magenta colored Dodge Neon hiding behind your NB? |

Not an odd question at all, actually...
I'm doing one of my NB as we speak. First off, get access to an Inkjet or laser printer. Then try these sites to orde some decal paper that can be used for your type of printer: http://www.decalpaper.com/ or http://www.bare-metal.com/gateways/decal_supplies.html All y'gotta do then, is make the design in scale. Using tracing paper over the model, some reference photos, a scanner, and a paint program will do wonders!

PM Bugman.
He has a very custom flame job NB, and he has hundreds of miniatures that he's painted himself. (He painted his actual NB himself as well).
