Britney Spears "M+M" Special Shows

So word on the street is that Britney Spears is playing a few gigs at the House of Blues (Anaheim, Sunset Strip in Hollywood, & San Diego) apparently under the assumed band name of M+M.

Well, how about a series of "secret" comeback performances at the House of Blues here in Southern California next week! That's right, the rumor that is spreading like wildfire is that Britney will be performing with a group she created under the moniker The M+Ms at the House of Blues venues in San Diego, Anaheim and LA next week. She was supposed to do her first pre-secret show performance at Forty Deuce at midnight on Wednesday night but ended up canceling at the last minute. So since I have been a Britney fan (for her best and worst) I decided to try it out. The tickets weren't a lot of money but more than a normal HoB show so that's what makes me think it really is her. And I looked everywhere online for this M+M band and there is nothing. My buddy Veronica and I are going to go... although thoughts of selling these on eBay have crossed my mind!

I was just excited and wanted to share Hopefully I won't be dissapointed and hopefully she is as good as she was years ago!!

I've been searching online about this and I saw it on RollingStone.com and E!'s site. I sure hope this is true... what a neat thing to be a part of!

I know she's white trash... I know she has made some mistakes with her kids... I know. But I have liked her since she came out. I'm in awe of someone who can pop onto the scene and take the world by storm! I hope she can regain her status and get her act together and back on the road.

I just saw a report on Yahoo that she only did 4 old songs, all lip sync'd only a 20 min. set and most people waited in line for 3 hours.

They said her body looked great though and she danced well.

the show niki and i were talking about is tonight... i got offered 200 bucks for them so i sold them. i love britney and all but im still broke and 110 in profit isn't bad.. at all.

Aw bummer!!!!

I was going to put mine on eBay for like $300 and if no one bought them then I'd still go... because I do really wanna go. Even though she lip synched 5 songs... Oh well! I think it's neat to say I'm a part of this and my friend is so excited too!

I'm going to try to sneak in my camera and get some good photos to share

Oh man... what a BLAST!!!!!!!

Frankie J ended up opening for Britney. He sang 4 songs and I have never listened to him much but man, that dude has a voice! He was great and very gracious! He came up to the top balcony and sat in front of Veronica and I. Very friendly.

Britney came on about 9:30 (I think) and only preformed 12 minutes. She did "Hit Me Baby," "I'm A Slave 4 U," "Breathe On Me," "Do Somethin," and "Toxic." It was hard to see much of anything because there were people everywhere. I stood on my stool and was told numerous times to get down but I got right back up

Her dancers were gorgeous and fantastic. Britney danced well and looked hot. There were news vans/reporters/cameras EVERYWHERE! Look for me on TV! I had my long hair on (in honor of Britney, of course! )

She did lip synch the whole time, but not too well. Sometimes she forgot to mouth the words and focused on chewing her gum instead. But she was smiling the whole time.

I met some very nice girls and everyone had a blast! At the end someone threw something at the stage and a big huge bodygaurd came out and pushed her off. I think it was a little note or something... something white.

Outside there was a reporter for E! and he said, "Ok, let's grab someone," to his camera man as Veronica and I walked by. I said, "GRAB ME!" So we were interviewd by E! So watch that channel and look for me!

I wasn't able to get any photos because they were VERY strict about phones and cameras. I had to put them back in the car. They caught one guy shoving a camera down his pants and kicked him out!

I think if I would not have known how short the show was going to be from the reports on the night before I would have been dissapointed. But I went in knowing what to expect and had a great time! The crowd was fun too! Chanting and hollering! It was a great time!

I'm not sure what show it was for... I just know it was for E! But I Tivo'd E! News and The Daily 10 hoping it will be one of those.

I hope we make the cut!!! There was some dumb girl behind us while we were talking saying, "Me next! OK! MY turn!" So she may have ruined for us...

Keep your fingers crossed though! It would be awesome!!!
