And right now about $45/ week for gas. That keeps going up every week though.

Plus whatever misc. maintenence or car wash items I must buy

Eur 216,88 since I've bought it.
It's a 5 year plan and then still EUR5000 left if I'm correct, I'm not even sure. Still 2 years to go.
Plus of course insurance, road tax and fuel and if needed *knock on wood* maintenance.

I paid off the loan on Bluebee early! He's all mine now. I was paying $240/m.

My hubby's Scion xA is $293/m.

In 2001 we were spending $1,600 per month for two vehicles. Today we only shell out $560...that's a good feeling.

Thanks to Mommy's great credit (she co-signed for me) I pay $190 a month.
I paid my insurance up front for a 6 month term, around $370. That is liability, collision, uninsured driver and comprehensive with a $100 deductible.
Fuel costs me around $60 a month, depending on how much weekend traveling I do.
I'd have to go through bills to figure oput maintenance costs.

And, yes, I am spoiled. But this time Mommy didn't actually buy the car for me. She just co-signed so I could actually get the loan.

I am very proud to say that I have made all 13 payments in full and on time.

i was just going to start this thread! kelly, you should put a poll with this thread.

* my payment on curby is $180 a month for 48 months. halfway done!
* insurance every month is $55.
* gas is about $70 a month.

however, and this is the kicker, i've spend a lot in making curby pretty and fixing his previous boo-boos and that adds up to an additional $100 a month since i've owned him. maybe more.

I recently paid off my Beetle at $225/mo for 3 yrs, I just financed my Honda Pilot for 5 years at $418/mo and the Honda Element I bought for my daughter was financed for 5 yrs at $278/mo. with a couple more years to go on that payment. My cost of insurance runs about $200/month for all cars and my gasoline bill runs from $175-$400/mo on the wife's Beetle and my Pilot, depending on any trips taken.

Hmm, interesting thread!!

Monthly
Loan = $252
Biodiesel = $40 about every 3 weeks
Insurance = $200, but I've been quoted lower, so I'm going to negotiate with my current agent
Maintenance = $30-40, based on oil changes, touch up paint, cleaning supplies bought in the last year

Cool

I am fortunate that all three of my cars are paid off...

CEL-ine runs me about $42 (one fill up) every other week...

My NBC is paid off, she was $376/mo, I paid her off early. I paid cash for my daughters used Jetta. Insurance for both cars is about $2400 a year, mainly because my daughter is a teenager, and I keep a lot of insurance on both cars. I don't want to be at fault or have my daughter at fault and not be covered. The insurance on the NBC went down after I paid it off though, and my daughters will probably be going up unless the officer drops the red light violation ticket when we go to court next week. He has said he will reduce it anyhow...we will see how this plays out. I have been reminding my daughter that it's her ticket, her fine and when the insurance goes up that her problem too. Sometimes they do have to learn a lesson or two, she will be a couple weeks without getting her nails done. If you are ever in Rutland Vermont keep in mind it's a $200 fine and 2 points for a red light violation..lol.

Gas...well, about $30/week for mine, and I am not sure what my daughter puts in, when she wanted a car she was told that she is responsible for gas and maintance, and if she couldn't pay for those things it got parked. I did have to tell my parents not to give her money, they are sneaky like that...lol....

-- My car payment is 378 (interest is killing me)
-- Insurance I'm unsure of since Joey was added to mine and pays for all of it.
-- Gas $40 a month roughly, I only use about 1tank of premium a month. (I live 2 miles from work)
-- Synthetic oil and general repairs when needed
