Question XM Radio at home

Does anyone have XM radio at home? I spend a lot of time sewing--6-8 hours a day--and I would love to have this at home. I have it in my car, but can't seem to figure out if I can even get it at home. You all always seems to have the best knowledge of EVERYTHING, so I thought I'd ask you!!

I have XM at home, but only because my receiver is semi-portable. I have a cradle in my car, a home kit, and i built my own semi-portable boombox out of a mini-lunchbox for work. The only trick is finding a sweet spot for your antenna. At my old house it was on the southern exposed side of the house, but at my new apartment it's right out my front window (also south if i'm correct).

It's good at home when yer doin chores or have the day off.

Doesn't XM also offer online listening?

That's always a choice. That's how I listen to Sirius at work. I listen to Stern in the morning from home that way as well, while I get ready.

May not be the best option, but isn't too bad.

XM does have online streaming of most channels, plus online only channels. Also, if you have regular XM service (Sirius probably does it too) you get XM online included at no charge. It's good for the days when the weather messes up your signal strength.
