I've had really good luck with Linksys, the Apple one was just too expensive at the time. We've had really bad luck with D-Link in my family though. I bought 3 of them on sale a few years ago, I kept one, and used 2 for Christmas gifts. None of them work anymore, they were garbage.

Linksys which is consumer Cisco routers. I have set up 10 or so of these for people. Very easy.

I have a linksys, and a Mac, plus PCs.
I also had to get a wireless repeater since I couldn't get a decent signal downstairs in my house. Since adding the repeater, I have had zero connectivity problems.

We had the same problem but the repeater doesnt always help. We have been using a Linksys for a long time. They seem to flake out a lot. They are a good price though. |

^^^ Thanks Pixelnexus, I'm totally sold now!! lol....
Thanks to everyone for your input, I REALLY appreciate it! Looks like the AirPort, Linksys and 2Wire are the best for both. I'm so glad I asked you all because those darn D-Links are on sale again and I nearly got one. Sounds like Linksys has gone through some good changes since Cisco now owns them (did not know that bit of info), really happy to hear that. ![]() |
