look up Beettle in a search, you'll see most people don't like it.

I think it might be okay; if they were to chop the roof so it was 2" shorter.

Otherwise it's the mix of an elipse and a circle, and it just doesn't look good.

Why not buy the real thing

One of our members is selling his BUG with a TT engine inside

1999 LHD Red New Beetle
Standard interior but needs a new centre console.
6 Disk CD Changer.
Lowered on H&R Coilovers and Roll Bars (you know how much these cost)
Audi 312mm Front brake conversion with grooved disks
Audi 256mm Vented rear brake conversion.
18inch Anniversary Golf BBS Alloys.
Front Mount Intercooler and Forge Silicone Pipework throughout
Neuspeed Induction
4 bar fuel pressure reg
High Flow Cat and 3inch stainless custom exhaust.
Oh and a 1.8T TT engine of the APX variety 225 running a REVO immobiliser bypass and REVO map. Makes between 240bhp and 285bhp depending on which dyno it goes on lol.
Forge recirq valve,
Comes with a spare front bumper and standard TT cats.
I gotta ask nearest offer to 9k or will part ex for a Goof GT TDI or a Bora TDI. Been doing around 500 miles a week lately and this car can't be driven sensibly, she drives like a go kart, a very fast one.

Interesting, I thought someone posted about it being for sale, but I never clicked on it to see how much they were asking.
...not interested though, I'd rather use the cash to build my custom car instead of purchasing theirs.

Might cost you a bit more as you'd have to ship it over It's currently being sold in the U.K.

But thought it was relevant to this topic

This smilie describes my attitude toward the TT (Yay, I knew I'd get to use it one day)

I like the buggy too, if you see bajas this one is a honey Where did you find it? *wonders what's under the hood, and dreams of hopping sand dunes*

Not going to buy it. I am intrested in seeing more pics. I am not sure I like it but I am very impressed with people that mod their cars so I wanted to see all aspects of it instead of bashing it like alot of purist do. Oh I found all the pics I needed.

Kinda funny when you consider that our New Beetles are just approaching 10 years in exsistance and we have purists. Yet we do.
