Default Kids back at school tomorrow and I thought I'd be happy, but I'm not. :(

I've been looking forward to them going back to school since the day they got out, so why the hell am I so sad about them going back?

Weezer's starting 4th grade and Yul is going to be in 6th!!!! This Summer went by too fast and it seems like just yesterday that they were both starting Kinder.

When my daughter Kim graduated from high school, three months later, Zac started Pre-K.

Zac is starting 7th grade Thursday. It seems like only yesterday that he started school. I know how you feel.

Awwwww!!! You love your kids! What a great mom!

Just remember, it could be worse. You could be glad they're gone each day!

i keep trying to make mine a baby again. today, she is 2. you're right- they grow so fast.

hang in there, momma. all of you will soon get more used to the school routine. and it will make the moments that they are home from school that much more special.

I fully understand. Autumn just started 6th grade (last year at the elementary school) and Dylan is now in 1st grade. UG! I'm not ready for the new challenges that middle school is going to bring ... not to mention those nasty little hormones that are starting to emerge.

Hang in there Aura! I'm not liking it either but I am enjoying them as much as I can while they're home.

Oh, geezee..who brought up college? I don't even want to think about it!

Thanks you guys for trying to make me feel better. Still sad though. It was totally depressing leaving them at school this morning. I ran errands afterwards and I missed my little brat pack. Maybe once they get home and start fighting I will be happy about school again?

My advice to you is to go out and buy yourself a "I survived the summer with the kids" present to make yourself feel better. While they're at recess, you could be out buying yourself another bag or pair of boots. (it might not help, but it can't hurt either)

Morgan will be walking home alone for the first time tomorrow.

I'm a little freaked, even though it's only four blocks.

RK's little sister who was a flower girl in our wedding back in 1995 started college this past Saturday and her baby sister who we first met for the first time in the hospital when she was 36 hours old, is saving her money for car shopping this fall.

I know it's not the same thing as it with your own kids, but I kinda' understand what you mean.

Well...congrats on getting 'em started on another school year. I wish them well.

Awwww, you all are so sweet! Today was much better! The kids really like their teachers and each have a friend in class, so it made things a lot less stressful for us all this morning.

But with all the college comments, I got so freaked out that I've begun brainwashing them to go to the local community college.

And I've decided they can never move out.
