Four years.......and counting!

Hi all, I am off work for the rest of the year with my neck problems, facing another surgery...anyway, I was thinking today, it has been 4 years since I met my first Org members! It was 4 years ago that I bought my first New Beetle. I am still a satisfied New Beetle owner! I was wondering how long some of you have been Org members?

I wish I could remember the actual date. If the old school org was back online, I could give you that. I must say it's at least 4 years.

The org has gone through a lot of changes, but it's still a good place to hang out.

I've been wanting a NB since they came out in late 97/98? and finally got it this past New Year's Eve...what a way to end/begin a year I joined the Org in January, so about 9 months ago I've had some cosmetic issues with mine but the dealership warrantied them. I had both front driver/passenger side airbag crash sensors go, warrantied. I am now saving pennies for the 40K mile service, I just hit 37K.

Ok...I'm such a n00b. I joined on 8/20/2007...and today is 9/6/2007.

But I'm happy I found other people who love their bugs as much as I love Lady Marmalade.

nice to see the .org is still around after all this time...the .org wasn't the first NB site i found, but certainly the best. many of the "other" sites are long gone.
