Hey
Got a YouTube question for all you Tech-savvy computer folks. I would like to get some of my favorite YouTube vids and save it to my computer or better yet, burn it to a DVD. Has anyone done this?? Can it be done??? How do you do it?? Thanks.

Well, if you have to:
1. Use Internet Explorer. 2. View desired video on YouTube. You don't need to view the whole thing, but you need to have downloaded all of it. 3. Go to the directory where Internet Explorer stores temporary files. The easiest way is to go to Tools->Internet Options, click "Settings" in then Browsing History section, and then click "View Files". Your "Downloaded" movie should now be in the cache (you didn't clear it yet, right?) The file name should be "get_video?video_id=...", where the ID is the movie you wanted. Copy the file somewhere else, and then you can view it using VLC. VLC may also be able to convert it to something more usable that it's current format, but I haven't tried that.
