the 1.8 is a pretty peppy/reliable motor.

At least its Magma red. I've had two Magma red SLK230s (and an imperial red one)and the color is very 'deep' compared to most reds that you see. Its a great color to have on a C230 Kompressor coupe. My last car was black, and while it looked AMAZING clean, I was literally washing it and spraying it down with Meguiar's Quick Detailer EVERYDAY. Its a full-time struggle to keep a black car spotless.
The only thing I'd be concerned with is that there were some issues with the Kompressor coupes that didn't get worked out until 2005, which unfortunately is the same year that they discontinued them. Mercedes has an AWESOME warranty, so most likely any issue would have been corrected already. Definitely check its maintainance records. In '03, the Kompressor coupes came with free scheduled maint for 4 years/50k miles, so there were no excuses on not getting them performed. |

Well......... THis is still in my dreams
they wouldnt give me enough for the bug  and i wasnt about to roll over 5K off hte bug onto this and pay 20K for a 4 yr old benz . Granted its very very nice and handles Awsome .. I did however Upgrade DOra . she was getting rather old and racking up miles nickle and diming me to death . sitting on the lot was a blue Dakota, 4wd . low to average miles. one owner . I got the payments low enough to handle both the NBC and this . But it will be alot better then putting dime after dime after dime into dora .. I will miss her but can't keep things forever . so heres Kota . 2000 Dodge Dakota 4.7L v8 3.54 gears ( decent gas milage ) .. 4wd ex. cab with cap and extra set of rims . |
