Hey, you beat me to this one. I just saw this article on MSN.

Very cool that we are in the top ten, unfortunately, his info is a little old. He was saying that it come in a Turbo edition along with a Vert.

Still got the Verts'.....

I think thats a good list. Nice mix of function, good cost, and popularity. There's a number of beetles on my campus. There's mine, a yellow, a white, a green, a dark blue and this year there is another techno blue!!! And on a campus that's only got 1300 living on campus, thats a pretty decent number! Oh and there's a faculty member with an 06+ shadow blue 'vert. I think Beetles are great for college. Only problem comes with moving in and out but that's it.

And you get so many smiles when you drive one or tell someone you have one!
