Question Tree sap

What's the best way to get rid of tree sap? I have some on my hood and my windshield and it's about to drive me nuts. I got some of the turtle wax stuff...but it sucks! Is there anything around the house I could use?

Rubbing alcohol works really well too. Just make sure you wax over the spot after you get it all off.

Put the alcohol on a cotton ball and work the spot. You might get a little sap residue, just keep wiping it away with a damp cloth and continue. You might need 2-3 cotton balls worth to get it off depending on how much sap is on there.

I bet! I used to have to park under a HUGE pine tree with my old car and it was just covered in sap all the time. I'll tell ya, my guns were benfitting from the cleaning of that stuff!

On the windshield, just washing it with windex works fine. My bf had tree sap get all over his car one night so we stopped at a gas station and he just scrubbed them clean with the squeegee. I think we just scrubbed good when we did a regular car wash to get the stuff on the body off. Nothing special.

pine-sol. You know the commercials for it you know you do But only get it on the spot and then wash and wax your car right away.
