Default New Apartment

Well, after getting my first paycheck from my new teaching position, I realized that the 45 mile, one way, commute is going to put a huge crimp in my lifestyle, as in after gas, I can no longer eat, I realized something had to be done.

The current apartment complex I live in has a pledge that if you get a job more than 30 miles away, you can get out of your lease with 60 day notice. So barring any problems with that pledge, I will be leaving my apartment of almost two years.

This is the apartment I will be moving into.

Pictures:
1. the entrance
2. my bedroom
3. my walk-in closet
4. my office, which is really a laundry room, but I can do laundry at my parents'
5. my living room and dining room
6. my kitchen
7. my bathroom
8. my bath tub....hehehehehe

I hope you enjoy. As sad as I am to leave this place, I'm excited for the new place.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

That looks really nice You should look into a small tower washer dryer combo. You will soon get tired of going to Mom's to do laundry,(unless she does it for you)

Good for you! Don't take this the wrong way, but after seeing so much white, I now remember the real reason I wanted my own house! Your new digs look nice.

wow Karen! That place looks NICE! I don't know of a single apartment complex out here that does glass top stoves or looks as upper class and nice as the one you're in. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my apartment, it's huge and very nice, but it definitely doesn't have a attention to detail that yours appears to have. Congrats!

Thanks David

It's funny you should say that they look upperclass cause its called a "luxury apartment complex." Needless to say, I have the cheapest one and mine is even cheaper cause it doesn't come with the washer and dryer. The super apartments are like 2-3 bedrooms with lofts and lots of space. But hey, the rent was what I'm paying now and 25 miles closer to work...so I took what I can get.

The complex itself is beautiful and brand new. Like I said, I'll be the first tenant. It's right on the Hudson River so the view from the pool and gazebo are the mountains in the background and we can picnic by the river. Just dont go swimming in it I'm pretty excited, but I don't know if I'm more excited about the complex itself or cutting 50 minutes off my commute everyday

Thank you everyone!!!

It's also an Energy Star apartment which makes my dad real excited. He really wants an energy star home. Everything uses the least amount of energy possible, so I'm saving the environment too
