Extra keys

When I got my beetle it only came with one key. So I called Volkswagen dealer today to see how much it will be to have more made. :faint:
For another key with the fob $155.00
For a valet key is $60.00
Then it is another $46.00 to have the keys programmed.
I had no idea they were this expensive.

you could probably get a Blank key off ebay then have it cut n programed might be a little cheaper. By the way your not too far from me .

That is what I am thinking also. I have been on ebay this morning looking at them. We aren't far from you at all. I have family in Toledo. We were just at the zoo 2 weeks ago.

When I purchase my NBC, the salesman said be careful and
don't lose your key because they are expensive to replace. Like you I had no
idea it was that expensive.
