"Beetlemania or How I Leaned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bug"
This book, written by Alessandro Pasi and available in many libraries, was published in 2000 and is a history of the VW Beetle from it's early forms up thru the inception of the New Beetle. It shows the development of the car from a rough sketch by A. Hilter (yes, "that" Hitler) right on thru the various designs and prototypes of Ferdinand Porsche up thru it's years in the U.S. and worldwide. It's done in photographs, illustrations, and text and is a very good, interesting book for anyone who loves this car. Just thought some of you who are intersted in Beetle history and trivia might be interested.
