Default Need some Tech . input ..

Hiya all ,
I need some input on my pc, When burning a music CD. for some reason the first song ( no matter what it is ) skipps its gotten to the point that i just put a song i dont care much for as the first song on every disk . Ugh . anyways i use Limewire to download mp3 files, and use what came with my computer to burn them . I have an HP windows XP and use the HP recordnow . My blank disks are memorex 700MB cd-r . I got these from Circuit city . Basicly went in told the guy what i wanted and asked what would be best. so any Ideas becuase im

Use iTunes for Windows XP. Problem solved.

Try turning off all unnecessary programs via the Task manager.

I'll blame "HP Recordnow" :P

just to be different. It could be a setting or something. Sounds like you're running out of buffer or something I dunno.

Make sure you 'write to hard disc' first.
