Default Is there a new virus going around?

the last two or three days my computer has been attacked by something.it will be running fine and then all of a sudden the mouse starts flickering and it opens zillions of things at once opened like fifty firefox pages yesterday opened like twelve programs at once. has anyone heard anything around?

But I don't see anything that behaves as you described, no.

The major threat the last couple of weeks has been the hole in Microsoft's image rendering engine that allowed a hacker to take control of your system by means of you viewing a malicious image. Have you downloaded the latest security update (er... I guess I'm just assuming you're using Windows... which I suppose might not be a correct assumption)

This sounds familiar, but I had 50+ instances of IE open after I installed the wonderful Microsoft updates.... hasn't happened again after a few re-boots tho so who knows what they sent out!!!!! Or, what they *fixed* LOL

As a matter of fact It updated about three days ago Hmmmmmm gonna check into this. Thats exactly how it is acting as if someone commandered my mouse and just started clicking on everything all at once half of one program open with the other half of another program. thanks peeps.

Yep I went to microsofts update page and had to go thru the download updates about three different times making me validate my version of xp before letting me download the updates. looks like george is gonna start taking over the world.
