Default Blast from the past!

OK, I know it's kind of dumb... But I am bored and out of alcohol.

Tonight we were taking a stroll down memory lane... and we started thinking of TV shows and cartoons from when we were kids. Some of the stuff we came up with was pretty darn obscure!

What were your favorite TV shows and/or cartoons when you were a kid?

Me? I liked:

The Shmoo
Jem
She-Ra: Princess of Power
The Snorks

I remember watching the Banana Splits... though I'm not entirely sure why.

In college, believe it or not, we got hooked on ThunderCats. Chea. Imagine a bunch of college students sitting around watching a kids cartoon. Obviously we were bored and out of alcohol as well

hehe Thanks for the rep Ellen. No I'm not that old. My mom loved that cartoon and she found some on VHS and I used to watch it all the time when I was younger.

That's how i got into the original Gigantor cartoons. Haven't seen the new ones though they are quite popular from what i understand.

How about this...

Shogun Warriors/Mazinger Z

Battle of The Planets/Gatchaman

i watched those both all the time. Had a big giant Great Mazinger with the blastoff fists as a kid as well.

I also used to watch the original Marvel cartoons of Spiderman, Hulk, Sub Mariner, and Fantastic Four. Those rocked hard!

That Schmoo seems so familiar but I can't place him?hmmm I can remember coming home from elementary school in the mid 70's and watching Gilligans Island and the Brady Bunch. They were always on like at 3:00. If anyone lived in the central valley of Calif, there was this guy named Capt.Mitch on Channel 40 out of Sacramento and he had this afternoon show. Don't have a clue why I remember this 30 years later LOL. On the weekends I always watched all those Sid and Marty Kroft shows- Sigmond the Seamonster, Land of the Lost etc... Anyone remember a magazine called WOW? I loved that mag.

I loved Ray Rayner, he was awesome. I still have his autographed pic I got when I met him, don't forget Chalveston the duck!

Also enjoyed The Bugaloos, Speed Racer, Shazam and Isis. Sigmond and the Sea Monsters was on around that time too. Those were the times. Hey, how about "School House Rock"
