Anyone have $40-50K that they'd let me use to quelch the inner-muscle-car guy in me? Nothing special, mind you...

....these auctions are ADDICTIVE

Anyone else watching?

Barrett-Jackson is a steal. By that, I mean with your money.

First, you pay to get in. Then, pay to list your car. And then, you pay 8% of the selling price to B-J.

Anyone seen the near-$50k VWs on the other day? A '56 Beetle 'vert and a '65 T2 single-cab... both went for about $49k.

And while I see similar cars for less $$ elsewhere. Buying your car there is "smart"? No, just more expensive. No thanks.

Besides, those bidders assistants that scream like little girls are so damn annoying.

I've watched it from time to time, I like watching the cool one-offs go up.

heheh "like little girls"...

I did think, could be wrong, that they "add" the 8% to the winning bid. So you the "buyer" has to cover the additional money and not the seller???

So, I agree that the seller fees are a bit steep, but if I can get an extra 20K due to the audience, might be worth it...

I do like to see the "one-off's" also. Get's a little boring watching another 60-70's muscle car sell for 50K...

i've noticed that too...40-50k seems to be the price-du-jour for just about everything.

however......I can't help but to go ga-ga over some of the Mopar's and luxo-barges.

on the docket for today:
