Anyone here use chat regularly? I like chat, helps pass the day

I tried to get in using the Java window and it said I couldn't connect to the server.

That's highly possible actually. The only way i get on at all is cuz i swindled admin priv. on my PC only.

I doubt they'd have it blocked at my work.... they don't block anything. (Don't ask how I know )

I DL'd mIRC to use instead, but I am retarded and can't get in. I'll keep trying though!

I'm pretty sure it's the filter here at work.

I haven't tried from the house but we only have dial-up there; it's probably too slow for chatting.

dialup isnt too slow for chatting,, ask Fowvay. he has dialup and is always in the chat room.

We're actually pretty proud to even have dial-up...it's only been a couple of months that it's been available here-- we're really, really, rural!

I am a chat junkie as is squeebug AKA Foamy AKA RevFoamy in chat. We can bee found in there during the week. I LOVE chat and the interesting thing we talk about. We also play Trivia. Now that gets to been fun.

when you sign on go to the status window and type

/join #newbeetle

in the command line and you should get in. good luck!

some chat softwares let you set that status message to run automatically. I know trillian does.

your better off using trillian over iMRC. I find trillan a little more user friendly IMHO.

mIRC is what it is, but it's also not free. Trillian is free. Download that one instead.
