A white clapped out 80s Sentra (those square ones) with a swollen and cracked piece of wood fitted as "a wing".

I saw that car a couple of years ago, but in any case, it would just be a crime to take pictures of that poor car.

Damn...those are some ugly cars. But I do have agree that the Aztec is probably one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. Same with the Buick Rendezvous (same body). I also have to say that Honda Elements are the worst. Subaru Baja is up there too...and the Dodge Magnum. Some people like these cars so I hope I havent offended anyone...but I think most of the new cars they have been coming out with are uglier than a lot of modded cars

Erin, once again you've hit the nail on the head!! The Pontiac Aztec is, in a word, an abomination. It amazes me that people actually buy em. My boy 73Standard says that they're pretty comfortable. No he dosen't own one. Him and the Mrs. just sat in one, nothing else. If he was the owner of one, we would have to have an intervention.

Oh yeah, I forgot (purposefully) one. Remember the AMC Concords? I understand that they were great as far as 4WD, but they were butt-ugly.

The Aztek. That is the ugliest thing. Comfortable, yes. I can't get past the ugly though.

I've always thought the Aztec was absolutely hideous. When my brother visited not too long ago, the car rental place give him one (I guess he rented the "SUV" class). Not only was it 10 times uglier in person, but it's actually not terribly fun to drive (underpowered, and more blind spots than my NBC with it's top up). I have no idea why someone would even dream up this thing. I mean... the optional tent setup out the back hatch is kind of a cool idea... but even that could've been styled a great deal better.


I have to say, though, that I really like the Subaru Baja, Smileybug. It's definitely a small car with a purpose. And I could see it being of great value if I had to haul stuff around. And I think it looks pretty good.

But, in general, I agree with you... car styling has gotten worse and worse in recent years. Except for the schmattering of retro-styling, most of which I really like, all the other cars seem to be really ugly.
