Original beetle or this?
As much as I'd love to have a perfect 1967 beetle ragtop, I'd much rather have this:
$20,000 turn key, and one heck of a lot of fun!

Nice kit, but I'd get an original pre-'66 sunroof Old Beetle and an MGA convertible...

This is actually a coachbuilt car, not a kit. These guys also do a 356 speedster too. Warranty and the whole nine yards. Basically like buying a new car. Has a tubesteel chassis, 1915 cc bug engine w/dual webers. 0-60 approx 5-6 seconds... Sounds like a blast to me!

 . They are Very nice and pretty much a Vw since the floor pan is similar  If you were to get an older bug , hard top get a 63 and down with canvas sunroof , 64 went to the metal Cranck sunroof . or a 67 Vert as they are worth a penny too ...

the only car i'd ever take over ANY Beetle is Concept 1. That's it.
Speaking of which (and i don't mean to jack the thread), does anyone know where the original concept Beetles are nowadays?? Chance of a test drive or up close inspection??
