Well, even though there's still snow on the roads for the most part, and there's -11 degress fahrenheit in the forecast, I washed the bug. Yeah, those images I took, with snow in the wheels, making it essentially a snow donut, didn't melt off in the garage like I had hoped.

The wheels were all unbalanced on this morning's commute, and vibrated like crazy. I pulled over after about 6 miles, and couldn't get all the snow out of the wheels with my hand (it really hugged the inside of those rims). The snow was also really caked on under the entire front end, including the arms that go to each front wheel (are those the control arms? A-arms?).

So at lunch, I took it to an automatic wash, got the snow blasted out of there, and voila, no more unbalanced wheels. Mind you, the bug's just going to get dirty very quickly, but at least the wheels are balanced, and the snow is blasted off of it... for now.

Yesterday I've washed Bugje.
He was soooooo dirty, it was very much needed.
And the weather was quite nice (no sun though) and it wasn't too cold.

Now he's all clean!!! but for how long

Id say about one week. LOL! I have to SCRUB the inside of my car, I usually detail Herbie every 3 month's, but I havent done it for almost a year. The inside is very thrashed. I just moved to Eastern Washington, and when I have to drive home, its a 4 hour trip, and I drive accross snow, and gravel, and sand, and living here is great, but its dusty. Very dusty. I dont know how else to keep my car super clean.

I need to clay bar it. I havent done that in a very long time. What can I say, I have been slacking in the car cleanning department
but NOT tonight. Im going to scrub my little heart out, Im going to be sweating like a pig! Cant wait to post those pic's ...LOL!

Yes, the inside. That's a part of the car which I hardly ever clean.
I don't make a mess of my car. It's always clean and no rubbish is lying around. It's just the floor that needs some vacuming.
What's 'worrying' me everytime is the big dash. And because my car is dark colored I see the dust on the top of my doors. My doors are the same color as the outside, shiny

We went for a brief hosedown today. No time for a full bath, but just to get all that excess salt off the outside and the floormats. I'll go for a full washdown soon as i can. I hate all this cold weather. Does nothing but slow me down.

Aaron and I took Herbie to the wash place last night about 7.. Full detail. It was about 20 degree's outside. Herbie even got new wipers installed. It was so cold. So, we went and ate some really good Thai food.

It was to cold to take pictures. We dint take the Turbo, because well.. its way super clean. You could eat off the dash...

I went outside and detailed a little bit yesterday afternoon, it was a whopping 39 degrees outside! I can't wait til it gets warmer.

I should really take more advantage of my garage. I have no excuse for my laziness.
