Default Parking brake chime...

..not sure if this is the right forum, but did you know that if you drive off with your parking brake on, your Beetle dash will chime (or beep - call it what you like) at you. I never knew this and I've had the car over a year now (2000 GLS) automatic. If only my wife knew that a chime means to check something...

done that one toooo many times.. and when your relay #173 isn't working and that brake light does not light it really makes you go "WHAT DID I DO???"

Zoomer ... manual bug ... with the parking brake on ... he doesnt move backwards ... forwards not that far.

Well, both of us have done the same. One would think one would never do that, but that's probably why the VW engineers put the chime in..
