I watched the whole thing laying low in my dorm since I've been sick for the past 3 days. It was nice to watch a race though...definately a good race. My favorite driver is Tony Stewart but he was definately not making me happy today with his little attitudes as he often has. But Jimmie Johnson is my second favorite. I couldnt have been happier for him since Chad Knaus was off the team for the race. Their substitute crew chief was amazing and I really think they deserved this win. Everyone ran an amazing race. It was definately a good start to the season. I can't complain.

Finally saw my first "fast" commercial so that was cool. Not really any new commercials that I saw though...a lot of repeats from the Super Bowl as Budwiser is a big sponsor.

the "no, i'm just here for the Bud Light" commercials were new. they were pretty darn funny.

my primary loyalty is to Jeff Gordon, so i was pretty upset when he got banged up early on. my second choice, though, is Jimmie Johnson, so overall it was a good day.

lately, i've been getting pretty bored with nascar races overall. this race wasn't boring though - i actually stayed awak for it all! IMHO, daytona is the only place that these "stock" cars can shine. i think taking them on road courses can be a good thing, but it's kinda pointless since they can't handle worth anything.

I coulnt watch it yesterday. I had to look on line, to get results. That kinda sucks. However, I do love nascar.com. LOL!
