the new Audi TT... me likey.
apparently, today was a huge launch party for the next-gen Audi TT.
a quote from the TopGear newsletter i just got: "Today’s the big day for Audi’s all-new TT. There’s a massive launch party in Berlin, including an unveiling of a three-times life size TT sculpture at the Brandenburg Gate by German chancellor Angela Merkel." i can't wait to see the pics of the sculpture, but for now here's their pics of the car...     and heres a link to the article i pulled them from: First pics: new Audi TT it says the base model is a 2.0T with a six-speed stick and FWD, but you can get DSG and a "250bhp 3.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine" (which is news to me) with quattro. i've always been a fan of the last TT and i think i like this one just as well. it's agressive face fits right in with the rest of Audi's recently-facelifted line. whaddaya think? EDIT: they added an actual feature story to complement the gallery: Audi's new TT

Very nice, but i'm so used to the old version of the TT. In my mind this is a whole new car to like.

I still like it pretty well, but it loses some of its uniquness. Looks like a G35.

anyways, the launch was today. it took place in Berlin. there was a live webcast. there was a huge sculpture as well. i have a ton of screen shots. yes thats the real size TT with the sculture next to it
