Default Totalled 64 1/2 mustang, any suggestions?

Hey guys, i figured i would try and help my dad out a little bit since he has been helping me out alot with my NB. About 10 months ago, my mother totalled his 64 1/2 mustang. (yes there is such a year) Hes wanting to get it fixed, because it is possible, but you need a weilder... (She got hit on the front passenger side) Anyone know of anyone who is good with frame work on older mustangs? Thanks.

Do a Google search on Mustang restoration Florida. You will come up with several clubs and other links. If he wants to salvage the value of the car, he needs a pro who knows exactly what he or she is doing. Good luck.

One of the best places is on the opposite side of the country. The Mustang Ranch in San Jose does very good work. They just welded up the frame of a 66 Mustang for a friend a couple of weeks ago.

I'm sorry to hear that sad tale. But with a car with so much value potential as a 64 1/2 Mustang, if they are going to fix it, its got to be done right. People will know this car has been in an accident and will be able to tell if it has been repaired correctly. That in itself can make a world of difference in values. If it has frame damage, he will need a shop with the proper frame straightening/aligning equipment. Auto body repair is just as much artistic talent as it is technical ability. We are talking about a collectible classic car here. I wish your dad the best of luck.
