I'm tan (okay I say light brown
) but I would prefer pale white please. Wanna trade coloring? Used to be big in the Goth scene and all my friends were pale white kids. When I hung out with them I wore the paler (white make-up) and ended up looking like a mime ![]()

I won 10 free Mystic Tans off of the radio last year and i've only used it once. I really liked being tan though, you should definitely take pride in it, I did for the short week and a half that I had it!

I started using Jergens Glow last year. I am using it again this year. I love it. You use it like regular body lotion and it gradually tans you. The smell is much better than some I have used. I use the Dark version since I have alot of indian in my family and like to keep a darker tone. Just wash your hands afterwards and dont get heavy on the knees and elbows with it. Any of the self tanners will especially cling and darken on any dry areas. If your knees and feet and elbows are dry put some other lotion on them first to avoid so much self tanner soaking in. I also use Loreal Sublime on my face. It gradually tans and also adds some immediate color/bronzer.
I dont use foundation on my face at all so the bronzer looks nice. Just be sure to exfoliate your skin first and add some lotion to the extra dry spots. Most products are great these days. I wish I could find one that had sunscreen mixed in!

I have to say, I've been tanning in the spring and summer months (ONLY) for about 8 years now........and last year was my best ever.....
I too Used that Jergens Moisture Glow and it made my tan last a lot longer. I suggest major moisture when tanning...and use a body wash in the shower not soap. Again with tons of moisture. I have a few really good friends that work for the local Tanning Company here and are certified by California Tan and they stress that a lot. I used Mystic Tan two times during the summer to even things out and it was great too...I never used just the Mystic on bare skin though. ![]() Oh and Aveno has come out with a lotion like the Jergens one too! |

I've heard a lot of good things about the "self tanning lotions"...like the ones that do the gradual tanning like the Jergens one. I've been really wanting to try it. My roommate uses it and looks like shes getting a pretty natural looking tan. I'm really fair skinned though so I'm kinda wary but I'd love to try some
