How do you clean your BBQ and what do you use? What is the easiest way to clean it? We just bbq'ed tonight and I had to clean it and it's such a hassle! I just used dishwashing detergent and some steel wool.

lol.

we always leave it on a few seconds so everything drips off, then use the wire brush on it, then turn it off, then take it inside for a soak in dishwashing liquid. comes right off. the trick is to try to not let it solidify.

Grass.

No, I'm not kidding. You take the grills off, lay them on the grass, and by morning, almost everything is gone. You then take them in the house, rinse them off, and you are done.

Why does this work? Dew.

Not Mountain Dew, but morning dew. It's strong, man.

Just think, if it can remove grease, what it is doing to your car's paint.

I have a strange feeling its not the dew but possibly the many night creatures that are actually cleaning your grill such as stray dogs, Raccoons and Possums.

Easy Off oven cleaner works. I have a charcoal grill myself, but the issues are the same.

Maybe, but I don't think so. This recipe for cleaning goes all the way back to me grand pappy.
