VW Master Song List.

Okay, as usual i have come up with an original topic. You can expect nothing more from me, other than pure excellence.

I have decided to compile a Master List of VW songs.

Here are the guidelines:
1. A song that appeared in a VW TV/Radio commercial.
2. A song commonly associated with VW.
3. A song that reminds you of a VW; must specify how.
4. Try not to duplicate songs that have already been posted.

How it can work:
You can either read through the posts and post a song by artist and title or you can PM me a song to add to the list.

Why?
The CD player i use in my car reads MP3s and i want to compile every known song and burn an MP3 CD of them all to keep in the car and possibly burn a few copies to give to my fellow Beetards as a cheap yet quality gift.

Mr. Roboto!!! It was in a Golf Commercial, my mom LOOOOOVED it haha! Or that Da-Da-Da song, again for the golf...they picked up a stinky recliner

Trio - "Da Da Da" (oops, somebody already mentioned that, but c'mon! The VW commercials featuring that song are the funniest they ever did! )

Shivaree - "Goodnight Moon"

Cos I think that was a VW that Uma Thurman was driving while that song was playing at the end of "Kill Bill, Vol. 2", wasn't it? o_O (edit: Yes it was! It was a Karmann Ghia!)

there was a jetta ad that had "land of the loops," I believe. one of the ones where the wipers were insync with the music, i believe.

I think that was in a commercial for some Mitsubishi car, not VW.

I shall have to DL those tonight. As i understand it though, not all of those songs were used in commercials. Some of those songs were just songs used on RadioVW as i understand it.

Can we confirm which ones were used before i add to the list?

Good call BTW Shutterbug. I was hoping someone would have these, but i couldn't find any for sale at my usual spots.

Originals or choice picks? That's a bit of what i'm trying to do here. Maybe someone could take the task on. Make an MP3 CD with a pick or two from each member who wants to be involved.
