I know that there is a BMW thread that wont allow you to post pictures until you've made 25 posts... 25 seems extreme, but when I started visiting their forum it was cute to see members so excited about sharring their pictures on their 25th post.

I ask because I had answered a question that was asked on a DIY something simple and the next thing I knew I was banned... No reason given.... and have no way of asking why what did I do???

Do you do this in this forum?

I've been "called on the mat" twice for walking a "gray" line with some comedic responses that were taken, or could have been mistaken, as vicious. In both cases the MOD involved sent me a p/m about it, explaining, and even going so far as discussing, it.

Perhaps they sent you a p/m that you ignored (it can be sent just like any p/m where an "opening of same" can be requested), or you simply missed it. I have my p/m's set up to go to my regular email, and I can read them there. I don't know what you're particular situation was, but I think the MODS attempt to deal with people fairly and tactfully. I can see, however, where this could be a huge task. Just saying...
