Cool Seen while driving around town...

I am constantly amazed by people and their driving techniques (or lack thereof) as I drive around Sacramento.

Today I saw an elderly woman hurtling down the freeway in her late model, 2 1/2 ton Buick LeSabre (don't laugh yet, I haven't finished) driving 50 mph in the #2 lane while wearing those huge black wraparound post-cataract-operation glasses.

just freakin' amazing...

Wow..I probably would have gotten off the next exit and taken the backroads just to avoid that one.

Last night after graduation I was driving my daughters car to my parents to leave it in town since she was at project graduation. I was behind a big conversion van driving 15-20 mph which drove me nuts. Then I was sitting at a stop sign and this car pulls out from the UPS parking lot and almost hits me head on....it's amazing that some people are allowed on the road.....

Where have you been, Alan.....those glasses you describe are standard fashion these days for the elderly......they fit over their regular glasses in most cases. I see these folks all the time driving.

Cool

I was out front adding water to the front fountain when I heard the ice cream truck with that blaring loud-speaker drive down the street. How does that guy make a living with gas costing upwards of $4.40/gal.? Those Push-ups and rocket pops must be upto about $2.50 a whack by now...
