The Audi R10 managed to get a win in the 24 hour endurance race in Le Mans (France) this weekend. The Audi won, followed by 2 Peugeot 908s, another Audi then the last of the Peugeot. The top six cars were all diesel powered.
The is the Audi teams tenth (consecutive?) win at Le Mans, and also Tom Kristiansen's eight win as a driver, solidifying his position as the most winning driver at the event. The diesel powered Audi R10 replaced the gasoline powered Audi R8 in 2006, and was the first and only Diesel powered race car to enter the Le Mans 24hr.
