Possible Move to Pennsylvania Update

Vinny was denied the transfer so, as of right now we're staying put on Long Island.

Ahhh well...so be it. Everything happens for a reason, right?

My best friend, when I told her said "I'm trying really hard not to be selfish, Aim, but right now I wanna jump for joy!"
She said she would be lost without me. And that's true about her for me too. Anyway...

I know you must be disappointed and I feel for you. I also know God has a plan for each of us, and I feel confident that Vinny didn't get the transfer because there is something much better coming around the bend. In the meantime, make lemonade (you know the old adage about if someone hands you lemons...), make each other happy, and hang on for the ride! (You might want to stick a little vodka in that lemonade)

You're right, Bette. We keep saying that. This isn't a terrible thing...just another twist in the road. Something good is going to come of this...and I'm looking forward to seeing what it is

No it isn't bad at all. It's just really exepensive and we would like to be closer to my family. Other than that we like living on Long Island. We don't want to leave, we just know we need to. It feels like our life is at a stand still until we move somewhere where we can afford a house. Here, we're just throwing our money away on rent that is way too high.

I know what that's all about. Oy! When I finally moved away from home home moved away from me! The last of my immediate family (my mom) moved 400 miles away. It's weird to not have family (except for 1 grandma) even in the state.
