Aww.. I made it into this thread? how sweet.

I left Charlotte on 10/7 to come up to Buffalo for a wedding, and haven't made it back home yet! was hoping to leave last weekend, then mid week, then today.. but nope. finally leaving tomorrow morning.

Haven't had much in the way of internet access up here, except for my grandmother's slow arse computer (someone's going to get more RAM for christmas, that's for sure!).. plus spending time with my family, and having numerous projects going on..

While I was here, I planned on having my brother replace the suspension on my car, and that took much longer than expected due to numerous things, including his weirdo work schedule.. and in the meantime was doing wedding stuff, refinishing my sister's wood floors, replacing most of the exhaust system on my grandfather's truck (go me!) and installing a new sink\faucet in the grandparents' kitchen because the old one started leaking all over.. oh yeah, and putting in a new window at their house, too! I think i need a vacation from this vacation!

but now since Stella's all done and i'll be heading back at last. not that i'll get to relax when i get there.. someone broke into my house on monday, so i get to go home and sort through stuff to find what all went missing, and clean up the freakin mess they left behind (joy!), plus get ready to have all the family i've been visiting up here stay at my house for a night or two over the next month on their way down to florida for thanksgiving

Not enough SoCalers on here! It's tough to stay on top of what everyone's doing on NB.org and Vortex so I stick to my regional forum. I do miss you guys when I'm gone though!

Guess what!! I'm back, and in the next few days, we'll (hopefully) have a new .org member! Met someone through a friend who loves his bug almost as much as me! I told him he'd fit right in here. :P
