Well... I used to play some pretty heavy stuff when I was a lil younger... lol... but if you guys are into guitar I have an acoustic duo (and sometimes quartet based on the gig) with my pop, we have a couple of CD's out. It's sorta jazz fusion along the lines of John McLaughlin/Paco Delucia so if you're interested you can check it out:

This must be the most universally homogenous/"all over the board" message board I'm on, music from everywhere, even Akron! The NB's unite. I saw that David clip, that was great. So are ukeleles, that was good, and these guys know how to play their cousin:

(also from David): Steve Martin & Earl Scruggs - Foggy Mountain Breakdown - YouTube

And Parsons, possibly my fav. band from back in the day that I still listen to a lot, and really like. Rabbit, I say you were born in the late 50's/early 60's, possibly in midwestern USA. That youtube radio station you link to is killer (in a good way). Yes, Black Sabbath, Genesis, Led Zep., Stones, the Who-Parsons has carried through the decades. My current fav: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDXa4FkAw-4

As I get older, I notice it seems I go to more funerals than weddings, I often break this out on the way home: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLtFsiOFn-4

And Rabbit, thought you must be born in the late 50's early 60's, but I scoped your profile, I was WAY off (not being creepy, just had to know!). Without knowing otherwise, I'll credit your parents for giving you your good listening genetics. Regardless, I don't care what anybody says, you're OK in my book.

Thanks! This is such a fun thread for those who really love music. For all the interesting people you meet, the wonderful friends you make and for the never ending supply of different song types that collaborate with the past and present, how could you go wrong with a thread like that? Sounds and lyrics, to some people a song makes a statement and can speak a language only to whom is listening can understand. No matter how new or old the songs, it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing.
