you're all very welcome! As a veteran myself(and a disabled one at that)I know all too well how lonely a life it is in the military sometimes & the little thanks we get;but when we see things like this & all of the other ways people say thank you to us,it makes it all worth it! Thanks to all who took the time to remember us tomorrow;and if you can please hug a vet tomorrow ,and look him in the eye & say "thank you!" It will be very much appreciated!
Thank you all!

A mighty Thank You to all fellow Veterans! This country would not be as great as it is without you!

Thanks to those of you that I served with, and those that are still serving! I salute you!

I would also like to thank those of you who do know, understand and appreciate what incredible people our Veterans are and were.

I attended my first Marine Corps Birthday Ball Saturday night and it was truly a night I will remember forever. What a proud group of Marines - I am honored to have them in my life. Here's a picture of the flag raising on Mount Suribachi, my topic for my first research paper in high school. To all our veterans, thank you for making the sacrifice so the rest of us didn't have to.

Thank you to all the Veterans past and present. My dad fought in WW11, he was in the Coast Guards, he went all over the world,he was on the USS Allantown, in August of this year,he was honored to have went to Washington DC, to the Washington Memorial, through a wonderful Charity organization, called Honor Flight, all expenses were paid for him and his chaperones,my brother, and brother inlaw. They had a wonderful time with all the old Vets, sharing stories, and time together.
Here is a picture. My dad is the man directly in the middle in the front row in the wheel chair. He has on a black hat and blue pants, and sun glasses around his neck.

Thank you to all the Veterans who have made our freedom possible. It is the soldier that gives us our freedom, not the politician.

Thank you Veterans...

I had no idea who Nick was/is, but these boots seemed very poignant when I took this photo in the total darkness on a cold, windy night at the Viet Nam Memorial in Washington, D.C.
